Obituary

Jonesboro- Max Nienstadt, 86, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born on October 11, 1932 in Amityville, NY to Max and Carrie Elliott Nienstadt. He served his country proudly in the United States Army and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had worked as an iron worker. Mr. Max was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ for many years.

He is survived by three sons, Mark Nienstadt, Adam Nienstadt and Glen Nienstadt a step-daughter, Jackie Barlow; six grandchildren, Cassandra Robertson, Benjamin Nienstadt, Danny Nienstadt, Eve Nienstadt, Ava Nienstadt and Miles Nienstadt; four step- grandsons, Alex Barlow, Bobby Willis, Clint Barlow and Donny Barlow; eleven great-grandchildren, Katlyn Barlow, Zane Barlow, Christopher Barlow, Jasmine Barlow, Jasper Barlow, Rylee Barlow, Gracey Barlow, David Zook, Savanah Barlow, Cassie Willis and Kaylee Greenway.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Nienstadt.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2018 at Little Creek Cemetery near Hartville, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 8:00 until 10:00 am Friday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave.
