Max was born March 3, 1972 in Lake Tahoe, California to Bruce Schaefer and Janet Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Rice.
He is survived by his parents; wife, Jessica Rogers; 3 step children, Timothy (Cassie) Sheets, Alexander Sheets, Nemah (Nick) Volner; 3 grandchildren, Eligh, Ezra and Emma.
