Matt McKenzie 65, of Maynard, passed away Wednesday July 28, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Matt was born August 1, 1955, to the late Ryan "Pat" McKenzie and Annie Belle Tabor McKenzie in Warm Springs, Ar. He was a sawyer and worked at many of the surrounding sawmills over the years.

Matt was preceded in death by his parents, Ryan "Pat" and Annie Belle Tabor McKenzie; two sisters, Patsy Hill, and Faye Linck.

Matt is survived by his wife Nadine Schofield McKenzie; five children, Brandy McKenzie Harper of Maynard, Chris (Kristina) McKenzie of Paragould, Pat (Amy) McKenzie of Pocahontas, Perry (Amanda) McKenzie of Paragould and Matt (Heather) McKenzie of Maynard; thirteen grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Perry (Daniela) McKenzie of Biggers; special nephew Tony Dawson of Michigan.

Visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday July 30, 2021, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Al Feezor officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Pitman. All services are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
