Brookland- Mary Samantha Williams Passmore, 95, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born June 17, 1927 Ava, Missouri to the late Andrew and Mary Becker Williams. Mary was a homemaker and loved babysitting grandkids, cooking large Sunday dinners and raking and burning leaves.  She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ausber Williams and WA Passmore; two brothers, Richard Williams and Thomas Williams; five sisters, Oma Hinds, Faye Swain, Thelma Doty, Grace Passmore and Barbara Taylor and a son, Kenneth Williams; a step-son, Billy Passmore.

Mary is survived by a brother, Verlin Williams; six children, Billy Williams (Candy), Hershel Williams, James Williams (Karen), Mitchell Williams (Susie), Janet Barber (Gerald), Hazel Hunt (Donny); six step-children, Willard Passmore Jr. (Un), Carryon Bettis, David Passmore (Rhonda), Richard Passmore (Donna), Cherry Fowler (Michael) and Brenda Mathews; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Wayne McGill officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are her grandsons.
