Miss Mary Ann Whetsel of Harrisburg, a very special soul, departed this life Tuesday August 15, 2017 at her home at the age of 82. She was born on October 22, 1935 in Sheboygan, WI. The daughter of John Hanford and Virginia Hanford. Miss Mary worked in the service industry and sincerely touched many people throughout out her life.
Miss Mary Ann always looked at the positive aspects of life and was blessed with a colorful sense of humor, that we were blessed to be able to enjoy throughout her life. She loved her animals, as well as to dance, cut up, and to sit and drink coffee and read with her beloved Baby Girl on her beautiful front porch that her son-in-law, Jim Stacey, had built for her. She was survived by three daughters; Stephanie Church, Christina McCune, and Toby Stacey all from Harrisburg. Two sons: Monty McCune and Mike McCune. Three grandchildren: Logan Chapman, Allie Parker, and Zach Stacey. Two great grandchildren: Kross Parker and Knox Parker.
Her fondest childhood memory was of her grandfather saying to her, "I'll pack'ya buddy."
