Monette- Mary Eveline Wallace Harrell, 92, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015. She was born December 6, 1922 in Pocahontas to the late Deewitt and Birdie Jones Poe. She was a farmer and a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, being with her family and reading her Bible. Mrs. Eveline was a member of the Monette Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Sidney Joseph "Joe" Harrell; her children and their spouses, Donna Elaine and Joseph Chambers of Nashville, Tennessee and Phillip and Suzanne Wallace of Monette; a brother and his wife, Paul and Joyce Ann Poe of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren, Ashley Elinburg (John) of Jonesboro, Wes Wallace of Caraway, Clint Wallace (Katlin) of Caraway, Ryan Wallace of the home, MeKenzie Wallace of the home, Miranda Forehand (Byron) of Brookland, Adam Carpenter (Heather) of Brookland, Jay Chambers of Memphis and Mary Beth Bass of Knoxville, Tennessee; fifteen great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Wallace; a sister, Josephine Pierce and a grandson, Terrance Wallace. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Monette Church of Christ. A celebration of her life will be 10:30 am Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Monette Church of Christ with Josh Parnell officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Wes Wallace, Clint Wallace, Ryan Wallace, Adam Carpenter, Jay Chambers, Byron Forehand and John Elinburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Building Fund of Monette Church of Christ or the Children's Home of Paragould.
