Mary L Thielemier, 77, of Pocahontas, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Flo \u0026 Phil Jones House in Jonesboro.

Mary was born August 21, 1942 to the late Jim and Nona Brown Bell in St. Morris, LA. She retired after 25 years as a proof-reader of the Pocahontas Star Herald.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Engelberg and Blessed Sacrament of Jonesboro. Mary is remembered for her love of laughter and socializing with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and son, Greg Thielemier.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Alan) Treddell of Jonesboro, Bryan (Teresa) Thielemier of Engelberg, and Dana Hart of Bono; grandchildren, Blake Thielemier, Madison (Uriah) Casillas, Tyler Hart, Haley Hart, and Lexie Tweddell; two great-grandchildren; brother, Bryan (Jean) Smith of Leesville, LA; and sisters, Sherry (Sonny) Wren of Shreveport, LA, and Janie (David) Gallion of Campti, LA.

Those honored to be pallbearers are Tyler Hart, Blake Thielemier, David Gallien, Uriah Casillas, Frank Thielemier, Bryan Smith and Alan Tweddell.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2020, from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at St. John Catholic Church, followed by rosary at 10:30. Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. with Father Alphonse Gollapalli officiating, followed by burial at St. John Cemetery. There will be a luncheon at St. John Hall for the family following the burial.

To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
