Mary Kathryn Garrison, age 91, passed away on July 11, At Randolph County Nursing Home. She was born at Pocahontas on October 9, 1934, to Johnny Boy and Nadine Parish Shivley.

Mary was a 1952 graduate of Pocahontas High School. She and her classmates formed a bond that would follow them all their lives. Later in life they traveled together, going on many cruises and vacations.

Mary and Mack settled in Bryant Arkansas where they raised their Family. Mary was employed by Ditch Witch of Arkansas in Benton Arkansas for 25 years. This was not only a job but another family that she loved and cared for.

She loved sports. Her favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals and Arkansas Razorbacks. She loved to read and play games on her iPad. Her greatest joy was being a travel baseball mom. She loved watching Heath and his friends play and spent endless hours at the ballparks.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mack Garrison Sr.; son Mack Garrison Jr.; and sisters, Nelda and Gail Smith

She is survived by her daughter, Patti (Steve) Steffes of Saginaw MI.; son, Heath (Kristi) Garrison of Bryant AR.; granddaughters, Rachael (Andrew) Holsted of Greenwood Village, CO, Whitney (Caleb) Staub of Wolf Creek, MT., Magen (Jason) Tune of Conway, AR; and grandson, Scotty Steffes of Saginaw MI.; great-grandchildren, Linden and Elliot Holsted, Emerlee, Colter, and Bowen Staub, Jackson and Lula Tune. She also leaves behind her sister, Johnnie Moore of Batesville, AR. and special nieces, Judy (Chuck) Barker, Pam (Jon) Snow, Cindy (Steve) Stout, Jamie Moore, and Lisa Carlton; nephews, Chuck (Dian) Jarrett, Mike (Charla) Foster, John (Maureen) McKay; daughter-in-law, Connie (Rick) Price; and many other friends and family who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Services will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial in Masonic Cemetery.

Those honored to carry Mary to her final resting place are Mike Foster, Noah Foster, Jeremy Stout, Kevin Kull, Seth Clark, Jace Clark, Jarrett Clark, and John Clark.
