Mrs. Mary Frances Self Hudson, of Jonesboro, departed this life Friday night, March 14, 2014, at her home, at the age of 91. She was born March 22, 1922 in Parkin, the daughter of the late Dr. C.A. Self and Aylia Mae Riley Self. She was a good mother and grandmother and was known to be very creative. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hudson and a brother, Clyde Self, Jr. She is survived by two children, Joy Jackson and her husband Jack of Ft. Smith and Aylia Poston and her husband Al of Jonesboro, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A private family burial will be held at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider the St. Mark's Episcopal Church or the Two Saints Kitchen.
