Jonesboro- Mary Louise Roddy, 89, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born in Bay to the late L. K. and Clara Grace Isbell Holt. She was the widow of Bill Roddy.  She enjoyed attending Nettleton Baptist Church, gardening, sewing and cooking for family. She loved her family and enjoyed being with them.

She is survived by a son, Joe Kent Roddy of Jonesboro; a brother, L. K. Holt, Jr. of Snow Lake; sisters, Nancy Williams (Danny) of Little Rock, Ann Berry (Tony) of Hardy and Jane Gaither (Johnny) of Cherokee Village; sisters-in-law, Linda Holt and Mary Holt; two granddaughters, Maegan Moore (Clayton Miller) of Jonesboro, Madison Gericke (Dean) of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Avery Moore, Oliver Gericke and Layken, Emmett and Ande Miller; many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Grace Roddy; a son, David Roddy; two brothers, John Holt and Tim Holt, and two sisters and their husbands, Rosa Lee and Sammy Bollinger and Anita and James Wright.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Eddie Wright, Stephen Wright, Randy Davis, Mike Soo, Justin Barber, Dean Gericke and Clayton Miller.

Honorary pallbearers are L.K Holt, Albert Soo, Tony Berry, Danny Williams, Johnny Gaither, Adam Whitney, Adam Browning, Matthew Wright, Artie Bollinger and Tim Bollinger.
