Weiner- Mary Ina Mae Walker, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Springs of Jonesboro.

She was born May 17, 1932 in Heth to the late Eugene and Grace Daniels Mitchell. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and a member of the Weiner United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and living on the farm. She enjoyed her St. Louis Cardinals and watching her grandkids play sports.

She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Teresa and Allen Soden of Weiner, Kathy and David Dunavant of Jonesboro and Sharon and David Williams of Grubbs; sisters, Bettye Hutchinson (Jerry) of Cash, Linda Ford, Marsha Lewellyn (Don) and Dorothy Johnson (Ron) all of Jonesboro; brother, Wayne Mitchell (Janie) of Grubbs; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Walker; a son, Kenny Walker; brothers, Jimmy Mitchell, Billy Mitchell and James Mitchell; grandchildren, Mindy Walker and Asa Walker; great-grandchildren, Elijah Ball and Kayla Hewitt and brother-in-law, Freddy Ford.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at Weiner United Methodist Church with Mitch Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Walker Cemetery near Weiner under the direction of Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Friday at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Sy Williams, Tyler Ball, Seth Soden, Hunter Dunavant, Chris Baxter and Clayton Baxter and as honorary pallbearers, Tony Sullins, Jerry Paul Hutchinson, Jimmy Mitchell, Randy Lewellyn, Allen Soden, David Williams and David Dunavant.
