Mary Louise Smith, 89 of Pocahontas passed away Monday, November 22, 2021. She was born December 18, 1931, to the late Ferd Sorg and Anna Hoelscher Sorg in Pocahontas. She attended St. Paul Catholic Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond (Wink) Smith, and parents Ferd and Anna Sorg; brother Thomas Sorg.

She is survived by son Lawrence (Christina) Smith of Pocahontas; grandchildren Anthony (Lindsey) Smith of Paragould, Andrea (Seth) Hardage of Dalton, Natalie (Chad) Ruple of Pocahontas; great grandchildren Lillian Smith, Olivia Hardage, Makenzie Ruple, Brycen Hardage, and Sagan Smith; sister Bertha Hulse of Pocahontas, Alice Akers of California, brother Charles (Bud) Sorg of Plymouth, Indiana, sister Bea Harper of Pocahontas, Virginia Jenkins of Jonesboro, Joann Redwine of Pocahontas, brother Robert Sorg and Ralph Sorg of Pocahontas.

Pallbearers include Bill Harper, Kenneth Jenkins, Terry Redwine, Tracy Redwine, Bobby Sorg and Trevis Sorg.

Rosary will be held 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, with Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00 A.M. All services will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

All services are under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
