Paragould Mary Elizabeth Blankenship, 80, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1927 in Brookland to the late C.O. and Clara Belle Nichols. For 25 years she worked as a bookkeeper for Jonesboro Lumber Company and was a member of the New Antioch Baptist Church in Goobertown. She loved oil painting, quilting and writing.
