Mrs. Mary Edith Dixon of Harrisburg, AR, departed this life Monday, November 9, 2020, at her home at the age of 71.
She was born September 9, 1949 in Harrisburg, AR the daughter of Harvey Denton and Jessie McCrackin Denton.
Mary was a 1967 graduate of Harrisburg High School. After high school she managed the Exxon for many years. She also worked at the shoe factory. Mary's best work was done as a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching the Andy Griffith Show.
In addition to her parents Harvey Denton and Jessie McCrackin Denton, she was preceeded in death by her husband, her siblings, Buddy Denton, Sissy Denton, Dexter Denton, Shirley Easley, Tootle Denton, Don Denton, and Alonzo Denton,
She is survived by her children Jason Dixon of Stuttgart, AR, Jarrod Dixon (Alicia) of Harrisburg, AR, and Jon Dixon (Tara) of Harrisburg, AR. Her sisters Delta Hanna of Harrisburg, AR, and Sue Davis of Corning, AR. Her grandchildren Madelyn Broglen , Kohl Dixon, Kelsey Dixon, Evan Massey, Brittani Dixon, Luke Dixon, and Lindy Dixon.
