Caraway- Mary Elma Darr Schoolfield, 82, passed from this life Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Community Compassion Center of Jonesboro.

She was born May 4, 1937 in Caraway, the daughter of Jeff and Gertrude Darr. Mary was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Caraway Church of Christ.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-four years, Tommy Schoolfield; two brothers, James Darr and Wayne Darr;

Mary is survived by her two children, Susie Schoolfield Meurer and Doug Schoolfield both of Caraway; three grandchildren, Sonia Robertson (Blake), J D Schoolfield (April) and David Schoolfield (Tasha); six great-grandchildren, Haven and Brady Robertson and Jayden, Laney and Connor Schoolfield and Jesse Schoolfield; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 15, 2019 at Caraway Cemetery with Ronnie Benson officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

There will be no visitation.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are her grandsons and great-grandsons.
