Mary Alice Cannady, 83, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Jonesboro and Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was born in Grubbs, Arkansas on November 4, 1942, daughter of Julius Alexander Coleman and Elsie Edith (Sullins) Coleman. Mary was united in marriage to Kenneth Roland Cannady on December 15, 1962, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and to this union three children were born. During her early working years, Mary worked for a variety of physicians as an office manager. Later in her career she held various positions at Texas Instruments and IBM. Mary was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.

Mary enjoyed crafting and thrift store shopping and enjoyed watching the Dallas Mavericks. Her most favorite times were spent with her family.

Mary is survived by her son, Greg Cannady of Grand Prairie, Texas; daughters, Karen Rogers (Biff) of Corinth, Texas and Sharon King (Joe) of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandchildren, Colby Rogers (Alexandra), Harrison King (Christina), Blake Rogers and Joshua King (Ashley); great granddaughter, Evelynn Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Wilma Arnold.

A graveside service will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas beginning at 10:00 AM with Bro. David Gibson officiating.

Pallbearers include Colby Rogers, Harrison King, Blake Rogers, Joshua King, Biff Rogers and Joe King.
