Mary Garnetta (Greeves) Blansett, 88, passed away April 3, 2017 in Sulphur, Louisiana.

Garnetta was born April 23, 1928 in Demun Township, Randolph Co, Ar, to Harry and Mary Louise (Junkersfeld) Greeves. Through her later years, she had been very active with the VFW in helping veterans.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Eli Blansett; brother Calvin Greeves; sisters, Eva Lee England, Anna Jean Thielemier; and great grandson, Nathan Bevins.

Garnetta is survived by her son, Ronny L. (Noo) Blansett; granddaughters, Nancy Phillips, Rhonda Blansett and Garnetta Bevins; nephew, Gale England; nieces, Lawana (England) Whatley and Teena (England) Broadaway; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be at St. Paul's Catholic Church Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 am. A Rosary service will begin at 10:30 am with a funeral mass immediately following at 11:00 am with Father Mariadass Vallapaneni officiating. Burial in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
