Mary A. Allen, 79, of Harrison departed this life on February 27, 2026, in Harrison.

She was born in Hamil, Arkansas at the home of the late Harvey Avery and Mamie Holloway Avery on April 22, 1946. She was the 11th child of 12.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mamie Avery; husband, James Allen; sisters, Loretta Golden, Elsie McQuary, Helen Peoples and Jeannie Avery Shockley; brothers, Elmer, Delmer, Manley, Duell, and Don Avery.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Fields and Shirley Cook both of Springfield, MO. Harvey Dillard and James Allen, Rita Tilley, and Stacey Allen all of Harrison, AR.; grandchildren, Gary, Steven, Evan, Anthony, Seth, Austin, Tiffany, Amanda, Autumn, Johnny, Ally, Harley; great grandchildren, Braden, Trisden, Ethan, Grayson, Mayson, Noah, Cobe, Wyatt, Kera, Rosaleigh, Lyla, Maddie, Jordan, Nathan, and Jake; great-great grandchildren, Joshua, Syren and Maggie; two bonus granddaughters, Chastity and Flo and one on the way; one brother, Jim Avery of Bryan, OH. She also leaves behind two very special fur babies along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held 12:00 – 2:00 pm Friday March 6, 2026, with the service to begin at 2:00 pm all in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
