Pocahontas - Marvin Auston Johnson, 82, passed away Thursday, August 05, 2010 at St. Benards Medical Center. Born January 11, 1928 in Pocahontas to the late John and Irene(Toney)Johnson. He is preceded in death by wife Louise Johnson, both parents, sister Wanda Potter, and brother-in-law Roy Durell Potter. He is survived by; Terry Flandera of Pensacola, FL., and Toni Childers of Ozark, MO.; Danny Johnson of Nixa, MO. And Johnny Johnson of Maumelle, AR. Rhonda Johnson of Horn Lake, MS., Shirley Brown of Mayflower, AR., Sharon Estes of Springfield, MO., 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nephew Roy "Butch" Potter, many cousins, and many friends. He was a truck driver, ETMF - East Texas Motor Freight and President of the Teamsters Local Union 245. Mr. Johnson enjoyed spending time with good friends at 166 Caf. And also enjoyed watching Cardinal games and reading a good western book. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 08, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Chris Bookout officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-7 p.m. Pallbearers included: Ray Hogue, Brad Johnson, Aaron York, Gary Johnson, Quentin Cato, and Scott Estes.
