Obituary
Jonesboro- Martha Viola Tippitt, 93, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
She was born December 12, 1926 in Trumann to the late Everett and Jo Della Marcum Rigsbee. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crossword puzzles, writing poems, playing piano, painting, playing games and jig saw puzzles. She was a member of Pentecostals of Jonesboro.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tippitt and four brothers, Lenny McFarlin, Winston McFarlin, Bill Rigsbee and Everett "Jiggs" Rigsbee Jr.
She was survived by her children and their spouses, Mark and Sharon Tippitt of Jonesboro, Tim and Dee Tippitt of Paragould, Barbara and Leon Stevens and Deborah and Bill McQuay all of Jonesboro and Lisa and Joe Ferguson of Hoxie; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 20, 2020 at Nettleton Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Runyan officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers Noah McCallum, Tim Tippitt, Jr., Nolan Mullins, Jackie Mullins, David Lee and Mark Tippitt.
