IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Martha Helen
Reynolds
September 12, 1936 – April 30, 2025
Martha Helen Lindsey Reynolds went to be with Jesus on April 30,2025, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, AR.
She was born in Tupelo, MS on September 12, 1936, the daughter of Audie and Minnie Pearl Lindsey.
She moved to Harrisburg in her early years and married Max Don Reynolds in 1958. They enjoyed 56 years together before his passing in 2014. Helen enjoyed many things in life. She enjoyed spending time on the couch with Jubilee and watching television, birthday parties, tea parties, facial parties, manicures and pedicures, especially with all her little girls! She enjoyed talking late nights on the phone with Teresa. She enjoyed visits with Josh and his family, keeping Kyndra Gayle, riding around and looking at farmlands, listening to music, going to Walters (better known as Wal-Mart), sitting on the front porch with her neighbors and her very good friend Mary. She even enjoyed the first responders who would come pick her up out of the floor, not that she fell, but gently slid to the floor. She also loved and enjoyed all the family gatherings. Being laid to rest with her is Jubilee Reynolds. Jubilee was a loyal and great 4-legged companion to her. His health was failing, and his heart was broken. Together, they will meet Jesus. She was a farmer's wife, a mother, a grandmother, a well-loved aunt, and a caregiver to many. She loved and cared for her father-in-law and mother-in-law and then her husband for many, many years. She was a faithful servant of the Lord. She knew she was a Christian at a very early age, as she would lay on the ground and look towards heaven. She continued to be that faithful servant as she became a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she was a cornerstone to the church as Sunday School Teacher, grounds keeper, bookkeeper, and treasurer until her health failed her and so she passed the books on. Her faith has been through her family, and she has been an inspiration to many. She was a joy to be around and a piece of her will remain in all of us. She will be gone but not forgotten!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Audie and Minnie Pearl Lindsey, her husband, Max Don Reynolds, Sr., her son, Max Don Reynolds, Jr., two brothers and sisters in law, William Clifford and betty Jo Lindsey and Bobby Jo and Nancy Lindsey, all of Harrisburg.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Reynolds Rosenburger of CA, a granddaughter, Mary Reynolds Rosenburger of CA, a grandson Joshua Maxamillion Reynolds and his wife Heather, and great grandchildren Rosalee and Rex Reynolds, all of Benton, AR. She also leaves behind a daughter in law, Lana Reynolds of Harrisburg, granddaughters, Brooke Honeycut and Kyndra Gayle Tucker of Harrisburg, Great Grandchildren, Brayden, Brennon and Brylan of Harrisburg. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews along with all their children and grandchildren which she loved and called her very own.
