Jonesboro - Martha Ann "Marge" Brown, 76, went to be with our Lord on July 17, 2018 at Flo \u0026 Phil Hospice House.

She was born July 8, 1942 in Jonesboro to the late Richard and Monra Choat. She worked in the scheduling department of St. Bernards Medical Center for twenty-seven years until her retirement. She enjoyed being with her children and their families whenever she could. She loved having lunch and playing bingo with her friends. She was a devout Christian of the Roman Catholic faith and until she fell ill was active in her church. She was a member of the Roy Wiles VFW Post 1991 Auxiliary in Jonesboro.

She was a loving and caring wife and mother. She was a very gentle woman and always thought of others before herself. She will be missed by so many family members and friends, but will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Saudie; two sons, Jeffrey Brown and Daniel Brown.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Ira "Brownie" Brown of Jonesboro; three children, Sheryl Turner (Bob) of Monroe, LA, Sharlotte Brown (Jason Siebert) and Eric Brown (Michele) of Virginia Beach, VA; her sister, Pat McCaughan (Bill) of Jonesboro; two brothers, Richard Choat of Birmingham, AL and Kevin Choat (Sandy) of Little Rock; thirteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2018 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rosary following at 7:00 pm.

A funeral mass will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Newman Catholic Center with Father Alphonse officiating. Interment will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Danny Brown, Chad Brown, Chase Turner, Rob Turner, Michael Casteneda, Chance Siebert, Richie Brooks and Travis Casteneda.
