Pocahontas- Martha (Bennett) Lemmons Martha Lemmons, 83, of Pocahontas died Thursday, July 2, 2015. Born July 20, 1931, in Randolph County, near the Fender community, she was the daughter of the late Gale and Gladys (Wheeless) Bennett. A lifetime resident of Randolph County, she was retired from the Department of Human Services after 30 years of service. She is preceded in death by two brothers Dowell and Carl Bennett. Survivors are her husband, Joe Lemmons of the home, a daughter, Dana Thompson and husband Stephen of Cabot; 3 grandchildren: Steven Singleton and his wife Carrie of Amarillo, Texas; Zachary Singleton and his wife Brittany of Beebe, Arkansas; and Brach Thompson of Bryant, Arkansas: two great-grandchildren, Jace Tyler and Sarah Kate Singleton of Amarillo, Texas. Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Graveside Services, celebrating her life will be Monday, July 6, 10:00 AM, at Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family welcomes friends to visit the home. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made to Paragould Children's Home, 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450 or a charity of the Donor's choosing in memory of Martha Lemmons. Pallbearers are Steven and Zachary Singleton, Brach Thompson and Kenneth, Kent and Blake Bennett.
