Martha Sue Clem, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 91, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR.

Born in Jonesboro, on May 28, 1935, to Leon and Bernice Eason, Martha was a teacher at South School in Jonesboro during her working years and a woman of deep faith. For many years, Martha shared her musical gifts as a devoted church organist for Huntington Avenue Methodist Church, a role that brought great joy to her and her congregation. She later became a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Above all, Martha loved being a grandmother to her four grandchildren. She also enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She moved to Northwest Arkansas seven years ago to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Bernice Eason, and her beloved husband, Donald Clem.

Martha’s legacy of love lives on through her surviving family, her children, Brian Eason Clem and his wife Elizabeth of Bentonville, AR, as well as her daughter, Sarah Clem-Harris and her husband Christian of Little Rock; and her grandchildren, Eason Clem, Solomon Clem, Sadie Harris, and Scarlett Harris.

Services will be Friday September 18, 2026 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 with a memorial service starting at 11. Burial will take place at City Cemetery in Jonesboro, with family only.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice (Bentonville) or Cornerstone United Methodist Church (Jonesboro).
