Obituary
West Memphis- Martha Sue Byars, 91, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018.
Sue was born September 5, 1926 in Elmo, Missouri to the late Archie James Speck Sr. and Laura Belle Rose Speck. She was a homemaker and a member of the Community Fellowship Church in Jonesboro. She retired after nineteen years with Colson's in Jonesboro.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dee Byars; a sister, Noma Henley and her brother, Archie Speck Jr.
She was survived by her daughters, Susan Williams of Little Rock, Lana Westbrook of Henderson and Lynn Roe of Clayton, Georgia; three granddaughters, Christine James of West Memphis, Rowan Bupp and Heather Roe of Eugene, Oregon and an adopted granddaughter, Shannon Evans of West Memphis; four great-granddaughters and three nieces.
A private graveside service will be held at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
