Marlene Elizabeth Sifford Hart, 87, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born March 9, 1934 in Walnut Ridge to the late Henry and Ethel Dobbs Lance.  She worked for TRW Cinch, as a caregiver, enjoyed working in her yard, and was a member of Pocahontas First Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethel Lance; husbands, Arthur Sifford and John Hart; sons, Scott Sifford and Steve Sifford; sisters, Jean Lance, Idelle Rickey, and Iris Hudson; and one brother, Morris Dean Lance.

Marlene is survived by a stepdaughter, Regina Byers of Reyno, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; sister, Kay Sifford of Pocahontas; special niece, Kim Wilbourn of North Little Rock; special friend, Shirlene Goodwin, and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1 PM at Randolph Memorial Gardens with Clyde Hackworth and Nelson Henderson officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
