Mark Anthony Leonard of Harrisburg, departed this life Wednesday evening, July 21, 2021, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 53.

He was born January 27, 1968 in Forrest City, AR, the son of the late James Leonard and Mary Pinkston Leonard Barnhill.
Following high school, Mark worked at a print press before becoming disabled. He married Karen Leonard on November 15, 2002 and they enjoyed almost 19 years together. Mark enjoyed life, especially spending time with his dogs and his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Leonard and his mother-in-law, Wanda Drum.

He is survived by his wife, Karon Drum Leonard of the home; two sons, Zane Leonard (Nicole) of Harrisburg and Jason Vest of Harrisburg; two sisters, Tina Brockett of Paragould, and Anna Aquares (Nelson) of Alabama; one brother, Steven Leonard (Jessica) of Tennessee; his father-in-law, Roy Drum of Harrisburg, and three grandchildren, Connor Leonard, Keagan Leonard, and Jenna Zane.

Funeral services are set for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Rev David Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday, 1:30 -3:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Sherman Drum, Tony Ezell, Mitchell Drum, Noah Raney, Brad Ezell and Brian Lewis.
