Marjorie Austin Glidewell, 88, went to be with the Lord Thursday January 30, 2025, at Monette Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on March 18th 1936, in Manila to the late Charles and Sallie Gray. Earlier in life she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was loved dearly by family and friends and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter: Amy (Kevin) Keiter; three grandsons: Lance (Mallory) Davis, Daniel (Marka) Davis of Monette, Shane Harville of Manila; great-grandchildren: Mace Davis, Cayden Davis, Drennan Davis, Keira South; two sisters: Joann Bowman of St. Joseph MO, and Corine Hamilton of Manila.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Oneal Austin and Ray Glidewell of 8 years; a daughter: Phyllis McElhaney; and three brothers.

A celebration of her life will be Sunday February 2, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Pastor Glen Hostelton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Leachville Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tony Austin, Kevin Austin, Michael Hamilton, Ronnie Austin, Mark Prince, and Rodney Hoots.
