Jonesboro- Marilyn Clark Furnish, 63, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born April 19, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Coy and Roxie Kennedy Cox. Marilyn worked for the Arkansas Department of Children and Family services for thirty years. She enjoyed reading and traveling and loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Furnish; her children, Erika Jernigan (Chris) and Geoff Clark all of Jonesboro; a step-daughter, Jennifer Waters (Jeremy) of Owensboro, KY; a sister, Connie Cox of Jonesboro; two brothers, Raymond Cox (Beverly) of Melbourne and Billy Cox of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Jackson Jernigan, Audrey Waters and Grayson Waters.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Cox.
A celebration of her life will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2019 at the funeral home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Roger Clark, Dennis Clark, David Clark, Lloyd Clark, Keith Ellis, Timothy Walker, Charles Williams and Dewayne Cook.
