Jonesboro- Margie Johnson Yates, 64, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home.
She was born August 18, 1956 in Black Oak to late Raymond and Thelma Finley Johnson. She loved to laugh and to make others laugh. She loved Rock and Roll. She enjoyed fishing, walking 5ks and playing tennis. Her main love was for her family. Even through life's trials and tribulations. Margie always had a big beautiful contagious smile and a wild sense of humor.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Danny Johnson, Billy Johnson, Charles Johnson and Bobby Johnson and a sister, Nelda Montgomery.
She is survived by her children, Candice Davis-Hall (Sam) of Paragould and Mickey Yates (Scarlett) of Brookland; two brothers, Jerry Johnson (Lois) and Tim Johnson all of Jonesboro; four granddaughters, Katie Yates, Raylee Yates, Allie Yates and Brinklee Yates all of Brookland and a great-granddaughter, Delta-Rae Yates-Newman of Brookland and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, October 9, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
Service will be private.
