Obituary

Margie May Weitkamp, 89, of Delaplaine passed away April 27, 2021 at her home.

Margie was born December 29, 1931 to the late Roy and Gertie (Brooms) Vines. She was a kind and loving woman. She always had a smile for everyone and was willing to go the extra mile for all of us. She loved her family with all her heart. She was a hard-working woman. She never had a factory job, but she worked on the farm like a man. She picked cotton, chopped cotton, and drove a tractor and whatever else that needed done. She loved to hunt and fish. Deer hunting and turkey hunting were her favorite. She was pretty darn successful at both. There are not enough words to describe how much her family is going to miss her. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Roy, and Gertie (Brooms) Vines; one brother Floyd Vines and one son Dale Weitkamp.

She is survived by her husband Darrell (Jack) Weitkamp; son Bill (Sharon) Weitkamp of O'Kean, daughter Rhonda (Jimmy) Rice of Delaplaine; grandchildren Chris (Amy) Rice of Imboden, Joey (Diana Rainwater) Rice of Pocahontas, Billy (Melissa) Weitkamp of Walnut Ridge, Kevin (Nicole) Weitkamp of Pocahontas, Robynn (Bobby) Rapert of Bono and Stephanie Murray of Pocahontas; great grandchildren Lachae Rice of Walnut Ridge, Peyton Rice of Imboden, Hunter Rice of Pocahontas, Rylan Rainwater of Pocahontas, Lauren (Brent) Garner of Hoxie, Justin (Kayla) Weitkamp of Jonesboro, Breydon (Catherine) Weitkamp of Jonesboro, Chandler Weitkamp of Lemoore, CA, Kannon Weitkamp of Pocahontas, Karson Weitkamp of Pocahontas, Ragan (Malachi) Gott of Pocahontas, Ryley Rapert of Bono, Tripp Murray of Pocahontas; great- great grandchildren Callie Gott of Pocahontas and Tucker Garner of Hoxie.
