Bono- Margie Patton, 71, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014. She was born August 19, 1942 in Egypt to the late Otto and Justine Henson. Mrs. Patton was a member of the Central Baptist Church. She retired after twenty years as manager of Quality Stamp Store. She loved taking care of kids and served as Girl Scout Leader for several years and was an avid Elvis fan. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She is survived by her children, Pamela Collins (Marvin) of Jonesboro, Penni Pratt (Johnny) of Sharpsburg, GA, Paula Sprinkle (Chris) of Sesser, IL and Jillian Tibbett (Zach) of Hernando, MS; a sister, Sharon Bond (Ralph) of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Natalie Brown, Matthew Garland, Jonathan Pratt, Callison Pratt, Angel Collins and Marvin Collins Jr.; a great-grandchild, Miranda Brown; two special friends, Bill and Aliene Clifft; a special pet, Skye and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be 7:00 pm Friday, June 27, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Tibbett officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Allen Nixon Jr., Bill Clifft, Marvin Collins, Johnny Pratt, Zach Tibbett, Ralph Bond and Robert Garland.
