Alton, Missouri- Marcella Yvonne Barrett, 80, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1927 in Pottsville, Arkansas to the late Ernest and Willie Cora Staggs. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apple Hill Church of Christ of Jonesboro. In her earlier years, Mrs. Barrett was a former telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for several years.
