Mai Bungitak, 40, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born August 13, 1981 in Majuro, Marshall Islands to Maity Bungitak and Nerita Mackby.

He is preceded in death by his father, Maity Bungitak.

Mai is survived by his mother, Nerita Mackby; wife, Nura Bungitak; daughter Lilliana Bungitak; siblings, Lekiticus Bungitak, Maitha Bungitak, Rosanlynn Bungitak, Samba Bungitak, Christina Bungitak and Azim Bungitak.

All services will be held at New Hope Church on Hwy 67 in East Pocahontas.  Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Friday, March 18, 2022 with a funeral service on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2 PM.  Cremation will take place following services under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
