Obituary

Madie Inez Lillard of Smithville went to be with The Lord on March 13, 2013 following medical complications at WRMC at Batesville. Inez was born on June 12, 1932 in Dorsey, Mississippi to Archie and Gertrude Humphries. She married Taylor Lillard on June 7, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and 1 grandson. She is survived by her husband Taylor Lillard of the home, 1 son John Lillard and wife Debbie of Smithville, 3 daughters, Nancy Young and Connie Lillard of Pocahontas, and Teresa Bussey and husband Bill of Fountain Inn, SC. 1 brother Buford Humphries and wife Dorothy of Jonesboro, 2 sisters Mavis Hampton of Cabot and Betty Murrell of Harrisburg, 2 grandsons, Travis Lillard and wife Holli of Pocahontas and Wesley Lillard and wife Missy of Smithville, 1 grand daughter Jennie Oden of Pocahontas, 5 great grandchildren, Brooke and Tanner Lillard, Abby Lillard, K\u0027dee and Christian Oden. Inez was a member of Smithville Baptist Church where she served as secretary of Sunday School for years. Inez was very active in many things during her lifetime. she loved her family and always loved having her kids and grand children around. Visitation will be Thursday 14th of March at Smithville Baptist Church 6-8 in the evening. Funeral will be on Friday March 15th at Smithville Baptist Church at 10:00 in the morning with Bro. Keith Marlin and Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Smithville Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations to be made to Smithville Baptist Church in her honor. McNabb Funeral Home was in charge of making arrangements.
