Searcy- Madia Marie Edwards, 88, a resident of Stonebridge, passed away September 30, 2017 at Five Rivers Medical Center.

Madia was born November 14, 1928 in Smithville to the late Newt and Geneva Culver Bilbrey.

Madia is survived by a niece, Billie (Mike) Fry; nephew, Joe (Linda) Wallis; grandson, Chad (Marla) Miller; 1 great grandson; 2 great granddaughters; sister, Oleta Wallis; son-in-law, Frank Miller; her special furry friend, Toby; extended family and many friends who will miss her dearly. Madia was a life long member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Searcy, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charley Edwards and daughter, Jeannie Miller.

A memorial service will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2 pm at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Searcy with Matthew Johnson officiating. The arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Memorial Fund.
