IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Madelyn "Maddie" Grace
Smith
April 7, 2004 – November 10, 2025
Madelyn Grace Smith, 21, known to those who loved her as “Maddie,” was born on April 7, 2004, and passed away on November 10, 2025. She grew up in Olive Branch, Mississippi, where her bright spirit, bold personality, and unforgettable presence quickly made her someone no one could overlook.
From a young age, Madelyn knew she was meant to stand out. A diva with natural beauty and confidence filled every room. She had a magnetic personality that drew people in instantly. She was funny, sharp-witted, and could make anyone laugh. She had a huge heart, loving, loyal, and endlessly giving, but also a fierce side that came out when it mattered. Above all she was her Daddy’s girl.
Madelyn collected friends everywhere she went. People wanted to be close to her because she made them feel seen, included, and special. She adored puppy dogs, often forgetting that those tiny pups would one day become big dogs, and she embraced life with fearlessness and curiosity.
She was also a proud Dallas Cowboys fan, cheering with passion and loyalty every season. And music, music lived in her bones. Madelyn didn’t just listen to songs; she connected with them. She had playlists for everything: driving, getting ready, heartbreak, joy, and moments in between. Getting ready to go anywhere usually turned into a full concert, complete with singing, dancing, and her own spotlight performance. Music was her language, her outlet, her joy, and those who loved her will forever hear her in every song that meant something to her.
Hardworking and determined, Madelyn put her full effort into every job she had. She learned quickly, mastered whatever she set her mind to, and often outworked everyone around her. Her strength, humor, and radiant spirit made a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Madelyn’s generosity lives beyond her time here. With her caring heart and selfless spirit, she chose to be an organ donor, becoming a hero and an angel to several families. Throguh her gift, she saved multiple lives and continues to touch the world in ways words can barely describe.
She is survived by her mother, Kimberly Smith; her father, Judson Smith; her brothers, Jacob Smith and Kyle Smith; her sister, Megan White; her great grandmother, Patsy Wells; her grandparents, Kathy and Steve Smith, Darlene Cupp, and Kaylene Brinkley; and her loving boyfriend Quinten Brown.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Randy Brinkley and Gary Cupp.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday November 23, 2025 at 2 pm in Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor John Miles officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be on the same day from 12-2 pm. Burial will take place in Pine Log Cemetery following service.
