Jonesboro- Madeline Annabell Guntharp, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013. She was born December 21, 1921 in Lauretown to the late Leonard and Ada Morris Goza. Mrs. Guntharp was a homemaker, "a farmer's wife" and had worked at Frolic Footwear. She loved to make crafts for her family and church family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by four sons, G. David (Rita) Guntharp of Jonesboro, Garland (Wilma) Guntharp of Hoxie, Jackie (Donna) Guntharp of Jonesboro, Terry (Venecia) Guntharp of Siloam Springs; four daughters, Milladene Shatswell of Jonesboro, Wilma Russell Doyle of Jonesboro, Judy (Bud) Dailey of Brookland, Linda (Paul) Stotts of Gatewood, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Ann Guntharp of Ozark; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Millard David Guntharp; a son, James "Blondie" Guntharp; two grandsons, Dean Moran and Jessie Shatswell; two brothers, Raymond Goza and Leonard Goza Jr.; two sisters, Velma Jones and Olay Niece. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2.00 p.m. at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro with Rev. Rogers Brand officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Guntharp, Jason Guntharp, David Smith, Dennis Guntharp, Carl Mac Rogers, Chad Guntharp and Randal Guntharp.
