Mr. Mack Charles "Bud" VanAuken, of Harrisburg, formerly of Indiana, departed this life on Monday evening, October 13, 2025, at his home, at the age of 74.

He was born November 19, 1950, in Indiana, the son of the late Herman Mack VanAuken and Ellen Carper VanAuken.

Following high school, Mack became a truck driver and did that all his life.  He married Brenda Kitt on April 30, 1977, and they have shared almost 49 years together.  Bud enjoyed puzzle books and fishing when he could.  He also enjoyed bowling when he was younger.  But his true joy came from spending time with his family and his grandkids.

There are no services scheduled, and his body will be cremated according to his wishes.  Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg has been entrusted with all arrangements.
