Brentwood, Mo- Mable Elizabeth Layne, 89, formerly of Monette area died Friday, June 26, 2009 at her home. She was born September 8, 1919 in Lake City to the late John Luke and Trinvilla Henderson Bowers. She was a homemaker and had worked as a nurses aid.
