HOXIE " Lynda Jo Eaves, 62, of Hoxie passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in Jonesboro. She was born July 8, 1951, at Alicia to the late Etheredge and Ruby Butler House. Lynda received her bachelor\u0027s degree in business administration and was an ordained Assembly of God minister serving at the Corning First Assembly of God. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and pastor. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Leroy Eaves Jr., in 2006. Survivors include a daughter, Carrie Eaves, and a son, Buddy Joe Eaves, both of Hoxie; two brothers, Robbie House and wife Brenda, and Stanley House and wife Lillie, all of Jonesboro; two sisters, Tammy Curtis and husband Charlie of Jonesboro, and Patty Cornwell and husband Jimmy of Lake City; as well as her longtime friend, Mark Tannehill. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Walnut Ridge First Assembly of God with the Rev. Dale Hughart officiating. Burial will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Arrangements are by Gregg Langford-Bookout Funeral Home.
