RAVENDEN SPRINGS-Luvena Baldridge, 90, died Tuesday in St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1917 in Yadkin to the late Samuel Franklin Dalton and Gertie Claninda Ehrhardt Dalton and was a member of the Ravenden Springs Church of Christ since 1949. She was married to Dan Baldridge on December 26, 1937. He died May 27, 1947. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Survivors include two daughters, Shelba Jean Inness and her husband, James L. Inness of Ravenden Springs, and Shirley Fortner and her husband, Charley Fortner also or Ravenden Springs, a son, Cameron Ray Baldridge and his wife, Helen, of Jonesboro, six grandchildren, James Mark Inness, Cynthia Ann Markum, Allen Inness, Charlotte Prunty, Greg Fortner and Brendan Baldridge, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Service will be held at 10am Friday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with James L.Inness, Mark Inness and Neil Inness officiating. Burial will follow in Bellah Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 Thursday at the funeral home.
