Jonesboro- Lurlean Tucker departed this life on Saturday, September 1, 2018.
She was born August 17, 1945. She was a kind and wonderful sister and friend, with an incredible sense of humor and sometimes she was a pain in the butt (smile) but well-loved for her acute disposition. She passed away peacefully without pain. Her love will linger in our lives and will be truly missed by many. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Jonesboro. Upon completion of school she entered the nursing and dietary field.
She had such employment at Live Oak Nursing Home, St Bernard Hospital; Southwest Hospital, Pinnacle Point, Charter Hospital in Maumelle and her final job at Baptist Hospital of Little Rock. She cherished her family and was a very loving and giving person. She was one of the hardest workers we have ever known.
She had a long and fulfilling life and will be greatly missed.
Lurlean was preceded in death by her parents, Mable and Napoleon Tucker; two sisters, Dorothy Tucker and Emma Kelley.
She is survived by a sister, Betty Tucker of Jonesboro; a brother, Willie Tucker of Little; nephews, Anthony Childress of Little Rock, Ricky Kelley of Dallas, Texas, Victor Kelley and Brian Kelley of both of Anderson, ID and Marcus Tucker of Jonesboro; nieces, Tanya Michelle Burnett of Brinkley and Shelia Kelley of Anderson; a host of cousins and other family and friends.
