Monette- Lulu Belle Pitts Pruitt, 86, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born September 15, 1935 in Monette to the late Robert Pitts and Nellie Davidson Pitts. Lulu Belle retired after thirty plus years at Frolic Footwear in Monette. She was heavy involved in youth softball and served as District Youth Commissioner for many years. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, but the true love of her life was her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Debby Pruitt and Jackie Hamilton (Jack), all of Paragould and Tammy Pruitt (Jason Tompkins)of Monette; four grandchildren, Heath Grisham of Monette, Blake Grisham (Elisabeth) of Lubbock, TX and Nathan Hamilton (Christa) of Paragould and Zander Tompkins of Monette; two great-grandchildren, Kia Grisham Hawkins (Tyler) of Monette and Ashlyn Hamilton of Paragould, and two great-great-grandchildren, Michael Thacher Hawkins and Kylie Hawkins, both of Monette, and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Todd Pruitt; a sister, Nelroy Wright and three brothers, Bobby Joe Pitts, Udell Pitts and Ralph Pitts.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 1:30 till 2:30 p.m., at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette.  A private family only committal will follow at Macey Cemetery in Monette.
