Jonesboro- Lucy Joann Hill, 89, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital.
She was born January 6, 1930 in Jonesboro to the late Frank and Willie Wood Falls.
Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge player. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Red Hats Ladies and member and past president of the St. Bernards Auxiliary. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Falls Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Harry Hill; her children and their spouses, Steve and Janis Hill of Jonesboro, Art and Jill Hill of Tontitown, Luann and Junior Higgins of Jonesboro and Alan and Patti Hill of Fort Smith; a brother and his wife, Fred and Toni Falls of San Antonio, Texas; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be noon Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church's Chapel with Rev. John Miles officiating. Burial will be private under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
