Obituary

Pocahontas-Lucille Marie Fair went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2014 at the age of 93. Lucille was born on June 16, 1920 in Running Lake, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy (Andy) Fair; parents: George and Josephine Zosso, Steimel; Brother, Hubert Steimel; Sisters: Mildred Qualls and Rita Jo Steimel. Children, Judith Marilyn Fair Faught, Sara Pribule, Monica Rose Fair Great Grandchild Sydney Paige Lindner. Lucille is survived by her Children: Tim Chong (Peggy) Fair of Tracy, California, Matt (Sue) Fair of Maynard, AR, Pat (Dottie) Fair of Cabot, AR, Mary Anne and (Joe) Carroll of Maynard, AR, Mike Fair, of Pocahontas, AR, Jane Tyler of Carlsbad, NM, Kathy (Jim) Keeney of Paducah, KY, and son-in-law Charles Faught of Rector, AR. She is survived by 23 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Also surviving are sisters, Margaret Baltz of Pocahontas, and Viola Jansen of St. Charles, MO., and brother Edward Steimel of Baton Rouge, LA. Sister-in-law's, Shirley Fair of Republic, MO, Frances Steimel of Pocahontas, and Loretta Hendricks of Coos Bay, Oregon. She was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a member of the Extension Homemaker Club for many years. She was a Fair Board member for several years and a 4-H Leader for 25 years. Lucille enjoyed crocheting doilies and afghans for her family and was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed working in her flowers and doing crafts. She belonged to canasta clubs for over 50 years. She also enjoyed playing other card games and she taught her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren how to play many games. Visitation will be Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will follow at 7:00 P.M.. Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 3, 2014 , 10:00 A.M. with Father Athanasius officiating at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery.
