Lu Lynne Powers departed this life Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas.

She was born November 15, 1955 in Bethesda, Maryland to the late Robert Lovell and Florence Morgan.

Lu Lynne spent most of her life as a State Farm Insurance agent. When she was able, she attended First Baptist Church in West Memphis. She loved to ride horses, play bingo, and dancing. Above all, Lu Lynne enjoyed her time hanging out with "her girls" at Woodbriar.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Powers, her grandson, Carl Smith, her longtime companion, Eddie Powers, all of Trumann. Her sister Linda Bowden, of West Memphis, Her two nephews, Brandon Butler of Memphis, TN and Brad Butler, of West Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Lovell and Florence Morgan and her brother Bobby Lovell.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
