Lowell Thomas Rose, 80, departed this life on December 27, 2023, at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born January 17, 1943, to the late Lowell Rose and Elewese Romine Rose in Randolph County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Elewese Rose, and infant sister Lola Rose.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Rose of the home; sons, Eddie (Christy) Rose of Pocahontas and Ryan (Janet) Rose of Pocahontas; six grandchildren, Blake (Haley) Rose, Hadley (Noah) Brooks, Lauren (Mack) Thompson, Kaitlynn (Garret) Jessen, Allen (Megan) Turner and Ashley (Nick) Newman; six great grandchildren; brother, Ronnie (Veronica) Rose; Aunt, Zella Johnson; sister-in-law, Carol (Scott) Wise of Pocahontas and brother-in-law, Richard (Jane) Hufstedler of Ohio.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2023, with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. with Gerald Fears officiating. All services will be held at Skaggs Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are grandsons, Blake Rose, Mack Thompson, Noah Brooks, Allen Turner, Garret Jessen and Nick Newman.
Honorary pallbearers are Kevin, Kris, Kelly Rose, Jon Fears, Eddie Simmons and Mark Tanner.
