POCAHONTAS - Edna Louise Kincade Jansen, 82, of Pocahontas, died April 29, 2011 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. The daughter of the late Ed Kincade and Myrl Pratt Kincade, she was born May 5, 1928 in Randolph County, AR, where she grew up and lived most of her life. She married the late Martin Ed Jansen August 19, 1951, with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and known for her beautiful quilt making. She was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Survivors include six daughters, Gima Jansen of Paragould, Sonya Walker and husband Ronnie of Pocahontas, Tamara Jansen of Jonesboro, Bridgette Gray and husband John of Conway, Lydia Sipa and husband Steve of Jonesboro, and Marta Wheeless and husband Jeff of Pocahontas; five sisters, Mary Johns, Kathleen DeClerk, Wilma Pierce, Betty Logan and Joanie Barker and three brothers, Tom Kincade, Lindell Kincade and Gary Kincade. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jori Elizabeth Junkersfeld of Memphis, Sam Walker and wife Samantha of Jonesboro, Will Walker of Pocahontas, Lauren Jansen of Pocahontas, Bobby Cohen of Jonesboro, Anne Cohen of Conway, Joshua Wheeless of Pocahontas, Max Mickey of Hammond, LA, four step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Lewis and a brother, Ralph Kincade. Visitation will be held at McNabb Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 5:00 pm with a rosary following at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Reverend Athanasius Okeiyi officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tim Kincade, Tommy Kincade, Danny Baltz, Gary Kincade, Norman Kincade, Mark Jansen, Jeff Jansen and Johnny Ward. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Walker, Steve Sipa, Jeff Wheeless, John Gray, and Dr. Danny Grubbs.
