Pocahontas - Loretta Rushing, 85, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born January 22, 1926 in Ravenden to the late Louis and Dolly Watts. She is also preceded in death by husband John Rushing, son Billy Shelton, daughter Betty Kyle, a set of infant twins, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by four sons; Bufford Rushing, Elmo Shelton and Johnny Rushing all of Elkhart, IN and Kenneth Shelton of Ravenden. Four daughters; Mary Haynes of Pocahontas, Glenda Osmun of Osceola, IN., Linda Housh and Margaret Rushing both of Elkhart, IN. 32 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, two brothers; Leman Levell Watts and Raymond Watts both of Arkansas and one sister Arline Honecutt of Indiana. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Gene Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Opposition Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. prior to service.
